Bayview is located on 30 acres in Bonita Springs, Florida, with sweeping vistas of Estero Bay. The bay enjoys special protections under the state’s Outstanding Florida Water designation, which recognizes Estero Bay’s unique natural attributes.
Overlooking acres of protected mangroves along the fringe of the bay, Bayview is just north of the neighboring Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa and overlooks the 18-hole Raptor Bay golf course. Just moments away are the conveniences of a regional shopping mall, healthcare center and award-winning restaurants.
The Weeks Family homestead along Estero Bay served for decades as a local marina and commercial fishing launch for the small villages of Bonita Springs, Estero and Coconut. Opened to the public in 1942, Weeks Fish Camp was home to skiffs that left early in the morning and returned with the day’s catch – mullet, redfish, snook, trout – that made its way to local fish houses, restaurants and family dining tables.
The Tamiami Trail first came through in 1927, providing easy transport between Fort Myers, Estero, Coconut and Bonita Springs. During the winter months, the local population swelled with visitors from the north, enjoying their time on the water and sharing evening fish tales on front porches.
Over the years, the region’s towns and villages have grown, but enjoyment of Estero Bay remains central to the Southwest Florida lifestyle.
London Bay is transporting its 30 years of success in luxury development to Bayview, with stunning architecture and a responsible land plan that embraces the site’s natural attributes and showcases its setting on Estero Bay.
The current plans for the property contemplate 300 luxury condominium homes, a public waterfront restaurant, and a vast array of lifestyle and wellness amenities. The plan will incorporate lush landscaping, water features, fitness and walking trails, and boardwalks for residents.
The dormant marina on the site – inaccessible to the public for nearly five years – will be reactivated, with a publicly accessible boat ramp and designated parking for vehicles with boat trailers. Slips in the marina will be designated for public boaters, along with slips reserved for Bayview residents’ use.
Bayview will rise to the high expectations of the residents in the area and will be consistent with the uncompromising quality and outstanding design for which London Bay is known.

London Bay has committed to reactivating the dormant marina on the site and providing public access. London Bay has committed to provide a public boat ramp and dedicate 10 slips to the public for daytime use, along with two slips for the local fire and police departments. Additionally, onsite parking would include 15 spaces for boat trailers, with overflow parking available at a nearby offsite location. It is also anticipated that the marina will include a separate kayak launch, a small park, and restroom facilities. Additional slips in the marina may be used for a high-end boat club or offered for lease or for sale, in addition to slips for residents of Bayview. Access to the marina will be dedicated for public use in perpetuity.
The plan is continually being refined, and based on public feedback, London Bay has already made several significant changes to the plan that was originally submitted to the City of Bonita Springs for approval, including:
- an increase in the number of boat trailer spaces from 10 spaces to 15 spaces
- elimination of the connection with the residential entry way to increase and improve traffic flow
- provision for a separate kayak and paddleboard launch area to reduce interference with the ramp
- redesign of the site to provide increased maneuverability and ease of access to the ramp by providing for a separate queue lane that will allow safer access to the ramp without conflicting with vehicles entering or exiting the parking lot and to access the ramp through a straight reverse with no turn required
